7 Reasons Why Atlanta is the City of Choice for Entrepreneurs

7 Reasons Why Atlanta is the City of Choice for Entrepreneurs

Maybe you’ve just started a unique small business, or perhaps you want to become a franchise owner, but the costs of running a business in your city are so high that you’re thinking about moving to make your dreams come true. By moving to Atlanta and marketing your business with Marketing Done Fast, you can leverage the low costs of living in the city to move your company forward! Plus, Atlanta has plenty to offer professionals with families. Here’s why so many entrepreneurs are choosing Atlanta.

Affordable Housing and Low Cost of Living

Currently, the median home price in Atlanta stands at $372,500. Rentals in Atlanta are also quite affordable, with typical rent prices ranging from $700 to $1,400. With a vacancy rate of 5.3% for the metro area, there are plenty of rentals on the market. And these low costs apply to labor expenses, too, which gives you a longer “runway” as a business owner.

What if you’re unsure about staying in Atlanta for the long term? If you do buy a home or apartment, you could always list it online as a rental and find tenants. For instance, listing your property on a site like Rent.com enables potential tenants to find you. They can filter for details like monthly rates, their preferred number of bedrooms and bathrooms, pet-friendliness, and other features.

If you’re moving a long distance, you’ll probably want to hire movers. Start narrowing down your selection by perusing online reviews. Talk to movers who provide services between your current city and Atlanta in order to get price quotes and let them know what you need. If you don’t have much room in your budget to hire movers, you can start seeking out moving companies offering deals or credits to help you save.

Business Launch Checklist for Atlanta

Adhering to Georgia’s requirements for businesses is crucial. After all, you do not want to run into legal issues. Starting Your Business states that Atlanta business owners should abide by these regulations:

  • Select a business entity, choose a descriptive business name, and consider getting a trademark to protect your brand name and identity.
  • There is no general business license for the state of Georgia, but check if entrepreneurs if your field require specialized licenses or permits.
  • Even if you’ll be running a business out of your home, you might want to consider buying business insurance.

In addition, new businesses relocating to Atlanta will need to focus heavily on social media marketing to connect with a client base in a new city. This is true even if you’re opening a branch of a well-known franchise in the city! You can utilize digital tools like Adobe Spark Post, an Instagram post generator, to produce attention-grabbing content and boost brand awareness on the popular social media site. All you need to do is select a template, edit the text, font size, and colors to customize your post, resize your design if necessary, and then upload your post!

Highly Educated Workforce

Thanks to the presence of several great local colleges, there is no shortage of top talent in Atlanta. You can hire qualified graduates directly from some of these renowned universities in the city:

  • Georgia State University attracts motivated students pursuing varied careers.
  • Emory University is a popular choice for students seeking a rigorous private education.

Students at the Georgia Institute of Technology are well-prepared to work in technical roles

Major Company Presence

For years, major corporations like Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, and AT&T have been headquartered in Atlanta, drawing highly-skilled professionals to the city. In addition to talent from local universities, professionals who have honed their skills working for prestigious employers also make up a portion of the labor market. And if they’re interested in transitioning to a role with a small business, your company might be the right fit!

Growing Entrepreneurial Community

Support is key to your growth as an entrepreneur. In Atlanta, you’ll benefit from a community of fellow business leaders and mentors as well as customers who want to see you succeed. The Atlanta Small Business Network recommends linking up with local organizations like these:

  • Oxwork offers coworking spaces as well as business events and goal-setting programs.
  • The Buckhead Club is a prestigious networking association for entrepreneurs.
  • The Gathering Spot hosts lots of fun events where business owners can relax!

Exciting Culture

In Atlanta, you’ll enjoy world-class food, amazing festivals, and access to relaxing green spaces even if you live in the center of the city. All of these perks of living in Atlanta make for a happier workforce! The list of potential activities is endless, so here are a few of the best things to do in Atlanta:

  • Piedmont Park is the perfect place to escape the bustle of downtown.
  • See the city’s trees in full bloom at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival!
  • Enjoy the authentic sounds of Atlanta at Music Midtown.

Diverse Population

Atlanta is a very diverse city, and this means that your employees will probably bring lots of different life experiences and varied perspectives to the table. With their unique insights, you’ll be able to stay ahead of the curve!

For entrepreneurs with families, finding an area with a low cost of living could be the ticket to success. With reduced expenses, you’ll enjoy peace of mind. It’s easy to see why Atlanta is such a popular city for entrepreneurs!

While you can use paid tools like social media ads, there is plenty you can accomplish for free.

Marketing Done Fast helps businesses like yours achieve greater success with effective marketing and lead generation. Read on for some top social media marketing tips.

Contrary to what some people may say, Facebook is far from over. One of the original social networks, the platform still boasts 2.85 billion monthly active users worldwide, including upwards of 200 million in the United States alone. Setting up a Facebook business page is a great way to share key details about your business, get reviews, and post updates.

To make the most of your Facebook activity, post with intent. Everything you share should offer some value to your community of followers, whether it’s useful information or an actionable deal. Create a content calendar to plan your posts in advance. Also, make sure to use not only posts but also stories to boost engagement and gain traction.

According to The Guardian, TikTok is the new Facebook. There’s no ignoring the power of this up-and-coming platform! ZenBusiness reveals that there are currently 689 million people using TikTok every month, with the younger demographics (especially teenagers) at the forefront of usage. For businesses targeting younger groups, joining TikTok is a no-brainer.

There are many tricks to using TikTok wisely. Popular types of content include hashtag challenges, giveaways, live streams, and tutorials. You can also leverage user-generated content, inviting your followers to share their own videos. Finally, influencer marketing is another option. Teaming up with influencers with large followings is a great starting point.

Instagram is another “oldie but goodie” that’s been around for years but is still worth investing in from a small business perspective. Businesses that are visually oriented do especially well on this platform, from fashion to art and food. When using Instagram, don’t just focus on scheduling posts. Also, take advantage of live streams and reels.

99Designs offers additional tips for growing your small business on Instagram. Hashtags are critical on this platform, for example. You can use tools like Websta to see what hashtags to use. Other ideas include paying for Instagram shout-outs, running contests, and always including a strong call-to-action in your posts. Also, to save time, automate your posts.

Don’t ignore LinkedIn when it comes to social media marketing. This platform is a great way to present your business in a professional light, connect with others in your industry, and boost your reputation as a thought leader. As Hubspot explains, thought leadership marketing is all about establishing your authority in your industry.

There are a few ways you can use LinkedIn towards this end. First, start by creating a LinkedIn company page. Once it’s up and running, share content regularly. Make sure that content is useful, informative, and actionable. To showcase thought leadership, you have to showcase your expertise in your niche. That’s how you’ll stand out from the crowd.

Social media offers many avenues for growing your business. While it can be daunting deciding what channels to use and how to use them, the diversity of options is actually a boon—there’s something to suit every type of business. The above guide covers four major social media channels and explains how you can use them to your advantage.

Meet Charles White: Franchise Digital Marketer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Charles White and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Charles, what is the most important factor behind your success?

The most important factor is providing quality results at an affordable cost within my industry.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?

What sets me apart is that I also do marketing for entrepreneurs, small businesses and music artists. I also own a music marketing company known as Paradym Music Group, and I’m constantly taking one marketing skillset I learned from one industry and testing to see if it will apply in the next industry. All in all, marketing is marketing and I’m pretty good at marketing anything.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

First I’d show them North of Atlanta, outside of the traffic. We’d go to places like the Avalon in Alpharetta, Roswell, and other places with relaxing atmospheres. I like breweries and local bars and enjoy fine dining. When we want to speed things up a bit, we’d go to Atlanta and visit buck head bars and hookah spots. Botanico is also a good Mexican restaurant that has nice outdoor views and good vibes. After all the food and drinks, we’d end the week with some vegan spots and then jog up Stone Mountain. The week has to have a good balance. Haha

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?

I’d say my motivation comes from the people that first introduced me to the franchise industry. I also used to watch alot of sales and marketing youtube videos, so I’d have to go with Grant Cardone for motivation and Tai Lopez for marketing advice and motivation.

Meet Charles White of Marketing Done Fast in Alpharetta and Cumming

Why Advertise Your Franchise Opportunity on Facebook?

Why Advertise Your Franchise Opportunity on Facebook?

Facebook is increasingly becoming an effective tool for generating leads that are specifically interested in your franchise opportunity. Marketing Done Fast works with countless franchise brands in different industries to create ads and then collect leads that are interested in becoming franchisees. Averaging 10 – 30 potential franchisee leads per $500 worth of ad spend, Marketing Done Fast presents you with 3 reasons “Why You Should Advertise Your Franchise on Facebook.”

Your Franchise Will Stand Out

Nobody should want to be a part of a crowd that decreases their chances of further success and this should stand true for a franchisor. When you place your ad with franchise lead generation sites, your franchise offering gets lost in the crowd of other franchise and business opportunities. You should want your franchise opportunity ad to break free from the crowd and start attracting all the attention and leads it deserves!
Advertising on Facebook allows you to present your franchise opportunity to users who are not actively searching for you, but give your ad undivided attention if capturing their interest.

Keeping Up With Your Target Audience.

Most likely the person you’d like to sell a franchise to, is scrolling through Facebook looking at pictures of their friends and family or reading trending news articles. As of the second quarter of 2016, Facebook had 1.71 billion monthly active users. This is where you should be advertising your amazing business opportunity. If interested, your target audience sees your ad and has the time to quickly scan your offering and make a decision on whether they’d like to inquire or not.
Facebook is that effective platform used to reach your audience when they have enough free time to think about the benefits of buying a franchise.

It’s Cost Effective.

Cost effective Franchise Leads
Cost effective Franchise Leads

If you create an “effective” ad, advertising on Facebook is cheaper in comparison to franchise lead generation sites. Certain franchise lead gen sites may charge you $40 per lead with the possibility of some leads being “spam bots” or extremely unqualified, but with Facebook it’s likely you generate 2-5 franchise buyer leads with $40 ad spend. If Facebook sees your audience is engaging, commenting and inquiring about your ad, Facebook will charge you less money per lead. Facebook treats “user engagement” as as one of their top priorities and rewards engaging ads by decreasing its cost per click, view or lead.

4 Cheap Tips to Marketing Your Music Online

4 Cheap Tips to Marketing Your Music Online

Marketing your music online can be time consuming and can get stressful real quick. Marketing Done Fast works with all musicians to effectively advertise and promote their music online to get immediate results!

1. Get Your Music on iTunes, Apple Music, iHeart Radio and More!

If you want to compete with the top musicians in your genre, it’s best to create a top quality image for yourself or band. The best way to go about this is to first purchase distribution for your music so it’s available on all major streaming platforms. You can purchase distribution at a cost of $70 – $100. When your music naturally appears on iTunes or any other streaming site, the listener automatically assumes you are “doing big things,” because your music has been professionally distributed on these top streaming platforms. Click here to get Distribution for your single or album.

2. Partner with a Famous Youtuber!

Youtubers that have huge audiences and fan bases are called influencers in the marketing world. Develop a working relationship these “influencers” and see if they’d be willing to include a clip of your music into their videos.
If you don’t know any influencers, Contact Us Today! We work with an “influencer” company that charges $100 a video with a guarantee of 20,000+ views within 30 days and your music will be played for no less than 30 seconds! We have matched the right artists with the right influencers for their genre and have helped these music artists generate thousand of plays and downloads for their singles and albums.

3. Advertise with Facebook Ads!

Don’t just boost your posts with a measly $5 dollars, put some thought into it!
Figure out who and where your target audience is and create a Facebook ad that might attract their attention. For example, if you created a new Dance Pop video, create an ad for that video and target females, ages 16 – 24, who live in California and who might have “liked” Britney Spears or Taylor Swift’s fan pages in the past. We guarantee that strategy will play a huge part in the effectiveness of your music ad and help it get more attention than a “boosted” post. You can get around 10,000 Facebook views for $50 – $100 and you can get more views if it goes viral!

4. Find a Reasonably Priced DJ

Drake discovered the “On a Tuesday” one-hit-wonder “I Love Makonnen” singer/rapper from hearing his single being played in the club and immediately made him a superstar. Don’t underestimate the power of having a DJ play your music at corporate events, clubs, festivals, weddings and more.
All it takes is 1 right person to hear your record before it could become a viral overnight sensation!
If you see the value of having your music promoted by a DJ, Contact Us Today. We work with a specific Celebrity DJ whose fee is $500 per month, giving you a total of 20 – 45 spins, while providing video proof that your record is being played.

6 Tips on Facebook Franchise Lead Generation

6 Tips on Facebook Franchise Lead Generation

Facebook is increasingly becoming an effective tool for attracting people that are specifically interested in your franchise opportunity. Marketing Done Fast works with countless franchise brands in different industries to create ads and then collect leads that are interested in becoming franchisees. Averaging 30 -70 potential franchisee leads per $500 worth of ad spend, Marketing Done Fast understands how to use Facebook to attract possible franchisees. To share this success, we present you with our 6 Facebook Advertising Tips for new and established franchises.

If your franchise has only 1 location or 25, it is best to target and run Facebook ads in your most prominent region, state, or city.
Targeting your geographic area allows for higher lead flow, more discovery days, and ultimately a better closing ratio because your local audience has had more exposure to your brand. Your local audience will have a deeper connection with your business, versus an audience in another location who hasn’t had the privilege of ever being exposed to your brand.

Within Facebook’s advertising and business tools, there is an option to upload any contact list you’d like; Facebook will analyze that contact list and give you a much larger, but similar audience to advertise to. For example, we uploaded our lead list comprised of 25,000+ individuals looking to buy franchises over the years, and in turn, Facebook provided us an audience of 1,000,000+ that fit our ideal “Franchise Buyer” demographic.
It doesn’t matter how complex you think your target audience is; Facebook takes every detail into consideration and allows you to advertise to your desired audience. Everything is taken into account, such as age, ethnicity, education, profession, income level, buying habits, skills, relationship status, and plenty more! Finding Facebook’s “Look alike” feature and uploading your lead list could help you find your ideal franchisee within a short amount of time and even help you save a couple extra advertising dollars in the process.

People looking for business opportunities may work hard, but they rarely work typical business hours, which is why pinpointing a specific time from the start may not yield a high number of leads. When you begin advertising, run your ad all day and every day to see what time is most productive in your area. When running our ads, we see a spike in potential franchise buyer leads throughout the weekend, particularly Sunday. For other franchise brands, we see a spike of leads flow through in the early mornings around 4am -7am. Running an ad all the time initially allows you to allocate more budget on the days/times your ad is most effective in your selected area.

If you find yourself generating tons of Facebook leads that are interested in buying your franchise, listing your franchise’s total investment amount in the ad is a good way to immediately weed out casual shoppers. Showing your audience the cost of your franchise allows them to self-evaluate, consider their finances, and make a decision on whether they’d still like to give you their contact information.

Facebook lets you create ads, but do you know which ad you should choose that will help generate higher quality franchise buyer leads? Do you want interested individuals to be directed to your franchise website, call you, watch a video, or fill out a lead form directly on Facebook? All of these factors are important when deciding on how to develop the most effective advertisement for your franchise. Luckily, Marketing Done Fast has had experience and success in selecting the right ad campaign for franchises and can help guide your decision effortlessly.

If you create an advertisement that is pulling in a good amount of quality franchise leads per month, be confident and raise your budget. Franchise industry statistics claim you must generate around 100-150 web leads for one of those to convert into a franchise sale. If your ad generates 40 leads per month, triple your spending instead of waiting 3-4 months until you weed out that serious franchise buyer. Then, when all ends well, you can invest some of your franchise fee back into Facebook advertising and flood the market with your uniquely exciting franchise opportunity!

Our goal here at Marketing Done Fast is to create a well-oiled and effective Facebook ad that presents your opportunity and drives franchise leads to you. If you already have an advertisement running or marketing team in place, Marketing Done Fast can be your additional resource in optimizing or creating a Facebook ad to steer results in your direction.
